A Perth grandmother had the shock of her life after opening up a children’s book from the library to find someone’s stash of cannabis plant leaves.

Raelene Radonich took to social media to share a photo of her find.

“So got some kid’s books from the free library, my granddaughter opened this one this morning, (and) to my surprise it was full of weed drying out,” she said.

“Sorry if it was yours, it is now in the bin.”
