A patched member of the outlaw Rebels Motorcycle Club faced court this week after he allegedly threatened someone with a firearm at a Karratha accommodation site.

The 23-year-old Baynton man appeared in the Karratha Courthouse on Tuesday, March 29, charged with going armed in public with intent to cause fear.

He was remanded in custody.

It is alleged that on the night of Easter Sunday, March 27, the man pulled a firearm on a group of men at an accommodation site in the Karratha area.

It was allegedly in retaliation to an earlier incident in the night.

The other members of the group were not Rebels members.

West Pilbara Detectives were able to identify the accused from witness accounts.

He will next appear in court on April 12.
