The mother of alleged double murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon has been released on bail amid allegations she attempted to influence a witness in her son’s forthcoming trial.

Mr Lamarre-Condon, a former NSW police officer, has been charged with the murder of Channel 10 presenter Jesse Baird and Mr Baird’s boyfriend, Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, and is awaiting a Supreme Court trial due to start later this year.

Coleen Lamarre, who also previously served on the NSW Police force, was arrested and charged in April with one count of doing an act intending to pervert the course of justice and was taken into custody on remand.

The 63-year-old has not entered any pleas.

In the Supreme Court of Sydney on Tuesday, Ms Lamarre appeared on screen via AVL from custody for a bail hearing.

She was granted conditional bail.

Family members were also in attendance at the bail hearing let out gasps of relief as the decision was read out.

Outside court, defence lawyer John Walford said he’d spoken with Ms Lamarre and that she is “relieved”.

Meanwhile, her husband made no comment to the waiting media scrum and was later seen waiting for her release at Sydney’s Dillwynia Correctional Centre.

She was later spotted by the media on Tuesday evening when she was released.

Mr Lamarre-Condon is accused of using his police firearm to kill Mr Baird and Mr Davies at a Paddington share house in Sydney’s inner east before placing their bodies in surfboard bags and taking them to a remote property in the NSW southern tablelands.

The 30-year-old was arrested in February 2024, four days after the bodies of Mr Baird and Mr Davies were found at a property near Goulburn.

Mr Lamarre-Condon was charged with domestic violence-related murder and break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.

He has pleaded not guilty and will fight the charges during a trial slated to begin in September.
