VideoSydney Swans player Isaac Heeney has been awarded the club's Most Valuable Player honour, receiving the Bob Skilton Medal despite being suspended.

Steffie Waters has shared a series of photos from her Texas getaway, including a surprise appearance from one of her fiancee Isaac Heeney’s Sydney Swans teammates.

The influencer has been enjoying a holiday in the United States with friends amid ongoing speculation about her relationship with the AFL star.

On Tuesday, Waters took to Instagram to share another carousel of photos documenting her time in Texas.

“Crazy who you run into in Texas 👢,” she joked in the caption of the post.

The photos showed Waters enjoying drinks with friends, attending the Austin City Limits Music Festival and indulging in some local food, including ribs and macaroni and cheese.

Sydney Swans forward Tom Papley also made an appearance.

Papley, who plays alongside Heeney at the Swans, was pictured flashing a peace sign for the camera.

There was no sign of Heeney in the latest collection of photos, with the AFL star remaining in Sydney following the controversy that rocked the Swans at the end of the season.

It is unclear whether Heeney had originally planned to join the trip.

The latest post comes just a day after Waters shared photos from the Austin City Limits Music Festival, where she spent the weekend.

In one snap, Waters wore denim shorts and a white singlet with the words “Daddy’s Home” printed across the front.

Other footage showed her dancing during Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL’s set, with drinks in hand.

The overseas holiday comes weeks after Waters made a series of changes to her Instagram account, fuelling speculation about the future of her relationship with Heeney.

In September, Waters removed the couple’s engagement announcement from her profile.

The since-deleted post, shared in October 2025, showed Waters proudly displaying her engagement ring after Heeney proposed during a romantic holiday in French Polynesia.

Heeney is now largely absent from her main Instagram grid, although photos of the pair remain within older carousel posts.

Neither has publicly confirmed the status of their relationship.

Reports emerged in September that Waters had ended their long-term relationship following a scandal involving several Sydney Swans players.

Heeney and four teammates — Chad Warner, Nick Blakey, Riley Bice and James Jordon — were suspended for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season following an incident during a night out on August 17.

Victoria Police’s Sexual Crimes Squad is investigating an allegation of sexual assault relating to the same evening.

This masthead is not suggesting the players are guilty of any wrongdoing, only that they are assisting police with inquiries.

Despite the controversy, Heeney was awarded his third consecutive Bob Skilton Medal on October 1, recognising him as the Swans’ best and fairest player for 2026.

However, the vice-captain was absent from the awards ceremony at Sydney Town Hall following his club-imposed suspension.

In a pre-recorded video played to guests, Heeney apologised to his teammates and club staff.

“Every single day I was away from the club was heartbreaking … I want my actions moving forward to show how much this place and its people mean to me,” he said.

Heeney also said he “can’t wait” to return to training with his teammates ahead of the 2027 AFL season.
