VideoGeelong's Mitch Duncan is likely to come under Match Review scrutiny for this hit that knocked Aaron Hall out of the game.

Geelong’s Mitch Duncan appears in doubt for next weekend’s clash with West Coast, with the star midfielder likely to earn Match Review scrutiny for a hit that knocked Aaron Hall out of the game during the Cats’ win over North Melbourne.

But Jeremy Cameron is likely to bolster last year’s grand finalists, with coach Chris Scott declaring the spearhead “ready to go”.

Duncan produced a clumsy late smother attempt in the second term, jumping and landing in Hall’s space before his shoulder appeared to make contact with Hall’s head.

Hall played no further part in the game and was subbed out.

The incident wasn’t the sole concern for the home side out of the victory, with Brownlow medallist Patrick Dangerfield failing to finish the game after suffering an ankle injury.

But after featuring in his first match since the season opener following a three-match suspension, Dangerfield told Fox Footy after the game he was confident he would be fit to face West Coast.

“Just a bit of a light tweak,” he said.

“I’ll be recovered early in the week and then it will be right to go.”

When Scott was questioned about Cameron’s status for the West Coast game, he replied: “Ready to go. He’s in”.

The Eagles haven’t won at GMHBA Stadium since their miracle comeback from 54 points down in 2006, with that game the WA side’s sole win at the venue in their past 12 attempts.
