West Coast remain inside the eight after a important but testing win over St Kilda at Optus Stadium on Saturday while Fremantle’s 2021 fortunes faded as their chances of winning Sunday’s game against Sydney did.

The Eagles now seventh next face Collingwood at the MCG before hosting Melbourne at Optus Stadium in round 21.
