ACT records 694 new COVID-19 cases

The ACT has recorded 694 new coronavirus infections, taking the total number of active cases to 5336.

The result of the new cases, as of 8pm on Sunday, came from 385 PCR tests and 309 rapid antigen tests.

ACT Health said there are 67 COVID-19 patients in the territory's hospitals.

This included three people in intensive care, of whom two are on ventilation.

The ACT has 98.6 per cent of its residents aged 12 and over fully vaccinated with two doses, while 36.4 per cent of those aged 18 and over have received their booster shot.
