A woman has died from her injuries after she was involved in a fiery crash in Perth’s southeast last night.

About 7.10pm, the white Holden Commodore she was driving along Tonkin Highway in Maddington left the road and crashed into a tree.

The driver, believed to be a 20-year-old woman, died at the scene from the injuries she received.

The Commodore ignited after the impact.

Members of the public tried to extinguish the blaze but were unable to do so due to the intensity of the flames.

There were no passengers in the car.

Police are urging anyone with information, mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the crash, or of the Holden Commodore travelling in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
