Motorists face lengthy delays with a crash having closed part of Mitchell Freeway.

Emergency and towing services are at the scene of a crash on the freeway southbound at the Whitfords Avenue exit in Woodvale.

The left lane has been closed by incident response crews and traffic is busy through the area, with drivers urged to slow down on approach.

In the city, a vehicle breakdown on Bulwer Street westbound after Lord Street is also causing issues for motorists.

Towing services are on site and vehicles are able to manoeuvre around the stranded vehicle, however drivers have been warned to proceed with caution.

An earlier breakdown on the Tonkin Highway southbound exit to Roe Highway southbound in Forrestfield has been cleared.

The vehicle had been stopped in the right emergency lane but no delays are being reported following the incident.
