With the 2022 South West Football League finals fast approaching, Busselton will be looking to find some late momentum to continue securing their finals berth.

The Magpies will be hosting the Collie Eagles at Bovell Park on Saturday during the 20th round of the regular season.

For Busselton, Saturday’s match will be a chance to continue solidifying their spot in the finals when they return from having a bye week last weekend.

Busselton sit in fourth place on the ladder with a 10-5 record, leaving them in elimination final territory with the finals just a few short weeks away.

After previously falling short to Donnybrook 10.10 (70) to 3.9 (27) in round 18, Busselton will hope to build up a late winning streak in their last run of games for the regular season.

While a finals berth is not on the horizon for the Eagles, Collie will be returning from last weekend’s bye week looking to build up some wins to stay away from wooden-spoon position.

Collie sit in 10th place on the ladder with a 1-14-1 record, after recording a 76-all draw with Eaton during round 18.

Last time the Magpies and the Eagles met was in round eight, when Busselton edged out Collie 6.6 (42) to 6.5 (41) at Collie Recreation Ground.
