The Duchess of Cambridge was the centre of attention at Centre Court before Wimbledon’s women’s final tonight after spending a week in self-isolation.

Kate Middleton, 39, who is a patron of the All England Law Tennis and Croquet Club, attended the grand slam after spending seven days in isolation due to a COVID scare last week.

Wearing a fashionable blue and white floral mask, the Duchess was accompanied by her husband Prince William.

The pair watched Ash Barty take on Karolina Pliskova from the Royal Box.

Hollywood star Tom Cruise was also spotted amongst fans at the tennis match.

The Duchess is expected to attend the men’s championship between Novak Djkovic and Matteo Berrettini tomorrow, unaccompanied by the Duke who will attend the Euro football finals.

Looking happy to be out of isolation, the championship marks Kate’s first public appearance since she was pinged by COVID tracers after watching the tennis at Wimbledon on July 2.

Kate, who has received both doses of a COVID vaccine, showed no signs or symptoms of the virus but followed the strict royal household regulations before leaving isolation. The Duke of Cambridge tested positive to the deadly virus in April last year, which the royals kept under tight wraps.

Prince Charles also contracted the virus in March last year and travelled to Scotland to isolate for a week.
