Search for missing woman suspended due to storm

Video36-year-old Felicity Shadbolt failed to return home from a walk in the Mount Nameless area overlooking Tom Price

The search for a missing woman near the inland Pilbara town of Tom Price has been suspended because of lightning from a thunderstorm.

Felicity Shadbolt, 36, was last seen at about 11.30am on Sunday, January 13.

She is known to regularly walk the Mount Nameless area but failed to return home yesterday.

Ms Shadbolt is described as being 150cm to 155cm tall, of slim build, and has blonde hair which was braided in two ponytails when she disappeared.

She is believed to be wearing blue pants and a black t-shirt, and is in possession of a bright light blue CamelBak hydration pack.

Police and SES personal on foot and in vehicles as well as about 25 members of the community from Tom Price searched for Ms Shadbolt today.

A helicopter and four horses were used to try to find the missing woman.

Anyone who sees Ms Shadbolt is asked to call Police immediately on 131 444.
