Woman wounded in alleged Coral Bay stabbing

A woman sustained stab wounds in an alleged domestic violence incident in Coral Bay yesterday morning.

West Pilbara Detectives allege the woman was stabbed in the chest and forehead by her male partner and was given first aid at the scene before being taken to Carnarvon Hospital for treatment.

She was discharged from hospital today.

Detectives have charged the man with acts intended to cause bodily harm.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear in Carnarvon Magistrate’s Court in two weeks’ time.
