Woman allegedly assaulted, robbed in Bulgarra

A woman has been indecently assaulted in Bulgarra while walking home from Karratha’s night club on the weekend.

According to police, the 26-year-old woman was punched in the face, assaulted and robbed by a man at about 2.45am on Saturday morning.

The incident occurred on Withnell Way and the man was last seen running along Searipple Road near the shopping centre towards Dampier Highway.

The man is described as dark skinned, approximately 180cms tall, with a slim build and broad shoulders and dark hair styled into a Mohawk.

He was wearing dark coloured jeans and was bare chested with a white top tied around his neck.

He got away with the woman’s small black clutch handbag.
