Water pipe bursts at Karratha hospital
Karratha residents needing non-emergency care are being urged to avoid Nickol Bay Hospital after a water pipe burst earlier today.
The hospital is operating on limited water supply and has had to halt some services due to the burst.
WA Country Health Service acting regional director Philip Montgomery said people needing acute emergency care should still come to the hospital, but asked those who can visit a GP or non-acute services to consider those options first.
Water Corporation staff are on site and the leak has been fixed, however it will take more time to fully restore water supplies.
