Two of Karratha’s most popular pubs have gone into receivership.

Receivers McGrathNicol took over the Tambrey and Karratha taverns on April 28.

McGrathNicol manager Rob Kirman said it would be business as usual at both venues while they were prepared for sale.

“Since the appointment occurred... both businesses have been stabilised, employees retained and the venues continue to trade,” he said.

”That is our strategy.”

Mr Kirman said the businesses would be put up for sale in due course.
