Trouts defeat Flames Black in round three of KBA women's division one

Trouts continued their strong start to the Karratha Basketball Association season in women’s division one, extending their win streak to three straight this season.

The round three clash between Trouts and Flames Black took place on October 27 at the Karratha Leisureplex.

It was an action-packed start, with both sides battling hard for the lead, however Trouts showed their class and overpowered Flames Black by five points.

In the end, Trouts defeated their rivals 29-24.

In the other division one contest, NSBC Lynx defeated the Cyclone development squad 20-0.

Trouts now sit on top of the ladder after three rounds, two points clear of their rivals Flames Black while NSBC Lynx are third on five points.

In the men’s division one competition, Flames Grey defeated Trouts 32-20 and Flames Black downed Karratha Kats 36-24.

A high scoring contest between NSBC Warriors and Roebourne Magpies saw the Warriors come out on top 52-36.

And in the final game of the round, Mayuga Majik edged out Pardoo Katz in a thrilling contest 34-33.
