Light winds and cooler conditions continued all weekend for Karratha golfers, with 52 competing in round six of Saturday’s competition, and 35 on Sunday for round six of Scroungers.

This resulted in some great scores on both days.

Tracey Keown took out Saturday’s win with 23 Stableford points, and was runner-up on Sunday with 21.

Saturday’s second-place winner, with 22 points, was Blaine Cattan, winning the countback.

Bodie Broun placed third.

Broun also took out the gross win for the day.

With a bogie free round and a few birdies, he shot 3 under par, 33 off the stick.

On Sunday, new player Dave Denham knocked it out of the park with a score of 26 Stableford points, a clear five-point lead, resulting in a dramatic 10-shot cut to his scroungers handicap.

With Tracey Keown in second on 21, June Worsley was in third place with 20 points.
