Three men have been charged after a fight involving about 20 people broke out outside the Tom Price Hotel Motel last week. Two men, aged 20 and 22, were both charged with disorderly behaviour while another male aged 32 was charged with disorderly behaviour and aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm. The disturbance occurred outside as well as in a nearby park at about 11.30pm on Saturday, August 29. Tom Price officer-in-charge Sergeant Nicole Mizen has called on further witnesses to come forward. “It probably involved 20-odd people outside the pub so we are just asking people to come forward with footage if they were there,” she said. “We don’t actually get too many problems with the pub. It is unusual that it got brought into where other members of the town were and putting everyone at risk.” Sgt Mizen said the males charged with the disorderly behaviour would be fined, while the 32-year old male charged with assault was due to face Tom Price court yesterday.
