Sign up for nippers
Port Walcott Surf Lifesaving Club will hold its registration day this Sunday from 9am at Wickham Boat Beach.
The club had a successful first year in 2016, culminating in it passing probation with Surf Lifesaving WA by the end of the season.
Forty juniors, aged from five to 12, attended the trial day in December.
Club president Ben Unbehaun told the Pilbara News the club would like to get more parents and older siblings involved this year to help the nippers.
He said surf lifesaving was one of the few sports where the whole family could get involved.
The 2017 season will alternate between Port Walcott, Dampier and Point Samson.
The season will end with the Broome Sunset Carnival from July 7 to 9.
