Karratha-based Pilates studio XS Energy will be hosting a three-day Pilates retreat at the Onslow Beach Hotel and the Mackerel Islands.

The retreat will include Pilates and meditation sessions, workshops, spa treatments, a cooking demonstration and an opportunity to relax in the serene surrounds of the Mackerel Islands. Guests can also enjoy beach activities including snorkelling, stand up paddle boarding, Plaka boating, fishing, swimming, and walking.

XS Energy Pilates founder Wendy Drew said the retreat was all about relaxing and having fun.

“It’s basically just a relaxing weekend,” she said.

“The Pilates is literally early in the morning and early in the evening and there’s other little things that we will plan sort of along the way.”

Ms Drew said the retreat catered for people of all levels of Pilates experience and skills.

Organisers have also teamed up with several local businesses for the retreat.

There will be a gift bag filled with locally made and sourced goodies for guests, while a beautician will be providing manicures and facials ,and a yoga instructor will be conducting meditation sessions and workshops.

The package costs $1350 and also includes accommodation, all meals and transfers from Onslow.
