Two men have been charged after police allegedly found one kilogram of cannabis in a ute during a vehicle stop on North West Coastal Highway.

Karratha police stopped a Holden Commodore ute on the highway, near Karratha, at 7.30pm on Thursday, September 7.

After searching the car, officers allegedly found 1kg of cannabis concealed in the ute’s rear tray.

Police then searched two addresses where they allegedly seized more drugs and drug paraphernalia.

A 35-year-old Bulgarra man who was driving the ute has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply.

A 44-year-old man from Yanchep has been charged with possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply.
