Police find woman missing in the Pilbara

A woman who was reported missing after leaving a Pilbara pastoral station yesterday has been located safe and well.

Police began a land search and issued a call for public information today after Amy Louise Gibbs, 26, was reported missing, having been last seen driving out of Mardie Station late last night.

A police search of the area surrounding the station located the ute she had been driving, partially bogged 7km west of the Fortescue Roadhouse, but Ms Gibbs was not found with the vehicle.

About 8.30pm tonight police advised she had been located and was safe and well.
