Pilbara land search underway for missing man

Police are calling for anyone who may have seen a missing man thought to have been travelling the Canning Stock Route to contact them immediately, with a land search and rescue operation to locate him currently underway in the Pilbara.

Officers believe the man may have been travelling on the Canning Stock Route near Lake Disappointment and are appealing for anyone might have seen him or picked him up to contact them.

The man is described as being fair skinned, 185cm tall, of medium build and with blonde hair.

More details are expected tomorrow morning.
