Two Pilbara primary schools have received a combined $130,000 worth of funds to upgrade ageing toilet blocks at their school sites.

Peter Foster announced on October 10 that North Tom Price Primary School and Paraburdoo Primary School will receive $50,000 and $80,000, respectively, for upgrades to toilet blocks.

The funds will go towards upgrading the ageing toilet facilities and will be combined with funds raised by local parents.

Mining and Pastoral MLC Peter Foster said every upgrade to facilities made a difference to the school community.

“By looking at the infrastructure at our local schools, and seeing where we can further support staff and students, we make schools a better place to teach and learn,” he said.
