It’s only early in the season as the KDEBA enters its second week, but Mongrels have started on fire with two emphatic wins.

Last week they again dominated the match over Wreckers, a likely top-four side, recording a 13-2 result.

Punishers backed up round 1’s solid win, last week overcoming Recaholics 9-6 to keep a hold on second spot.

It’s the start to the season they’ve been looking for, but their first real challenge comes this week when they meet Stickmen.

Warriors are always a class team and they are off to a great start.

After a hard-fought win against Stickmen, they easily accounted for Slayers 12-3 as they push for the top of the ladder, a position they are more accustomed to.

In the final game Stickmen bounced back from their close loss last week to put Animals to the sword 12-3.
