Man killed in collision with cow near Tom Price
A Perth man has died after the vehicle he was travelling in collided with a cow on the Tom Price-Paraburdoo Road on Monday night.
Police said the car crash happened about 35km south of Tom Price at about 10.30pm.
The driver of the car, a 46-year-old Paraburdoo local, received minor injuries and was conveyed to Tom Price Hospital.
His passenger, a 67-year-old from Carlisle, died at the scene.
Police are calling on anyone who saw the Holden Acclaim sedan prior to the crash to come forward.
It is the fourth death to make headlines in the Tom Price area in the past 15 days.
On Monday, January 14 a man in his 30s was killed in a car rollover near Karijini, about 10km from Auski Roadhouse.
The body of Tom Price mother Felicity Shadbolt was found near Mount Nameless on Wednesday, January 16 night after an extensive four-day search, and the following day a Korean tourist drowned in a popular swimming hole in Karijini National Park.
