A man in his 60s has been taken to Karratha Health Campus after the truck he was driving rolled over this afternoon.

The incident occurred at 12.42pm on Dampier Highway, near Steel Street, in Gap Ridge.

St John Ambulance spokesperson said the driver has no major injuries.

The road will be closed to facilitate the removal of the truck, however it is not yet known when that will occur or how long it will be closed.

Motorists are advised to expect delays in both directions.
