A man has been charged with four counts of indecent assault after a police investigation into several incidents on Barrow Island, in the State’s North West, last year.

It is alleged 34-year-old Bertram man Dragan Jovchevski indecently assaulted two women, one aged in her 20s and the other in her 30s, between March and August 2016.

The charges follow an investigation by the sex assault squad into several incidents that occurred last year on the island, which is the site of the Gorgon Gas Project.

He appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court today and he is next due to appear on September 21.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
