Lorrel Visona takes out first place in round 6 of summer golf cup

Experienced and new golfers indulged in a morning and afternoon of fun in less-than-ideal windy conditions for the sixth round of the Summer’s Cup.

Lorrel Visona took home the win on Saturday followed closely behind by Tasman Willett, both ending the day on 16 points.

Wayan Kusniati and Alf Worsley also ended the round on 16 points, with Kusniati placing third and Worsley placing fourth.

Glen May (15 points) was fifth.

Steve McNally was named best veteran of the week, while Marie Nottle was named best lady.

With a score of 40, Dan Hyde was named best gross of the week.

Sponsor Jason Bravington was on hand on the day to hand out awards and congratulate the winners.
