The annual City of Karratha family event Christmas on the Green returned to Karratha and Wickham at the weekend for two evenings of festive entertainment and the chance to meet Santa.
Hundreds of families packed a picnic and turned out for each event, setting the Leisureplex Oval and Wickham Oval abuzz with Christmas spirit.

As always, Santa Claus was the main attraction, and in Karratha had most of the crowd on their feet and waving when he arrived by helicopter, flying in over the Karratha hills.
Headline act the Milford Street Shakers wowed the audience with their upbeat cover songs, and the night also featured performances by several local singers and a round of Christmas carols.
