Pardoo Katz defeated Flames Black in an action-packed division one game of the Karratha Basketball Association round six at the Karratha Leisureplex.

The game took place on November 3, with both sides battling for the lead in the first half.

Katz showed their class in the second half, powering past Flames Black 48-40.

Damien Gidgup scored 12 points for Pardoo with help from Keegan Dodd (11 points), while Danford Parata scored 12 for Flames Black.

In the other division one games, Roebourne Magpies defeated Trouts 39-32, Karratha Kats downed Flames Grey 40-26 and NSBC Warriors ran over Mayuga Majik 46-28.

In the women’s competition, Trouts overpowered NSBC Lynx 36-19 with Jordi Perry top scoring with 18 points. Morgan Mair top-scored for Lynx with six points.

In the final game of the round, Flames Black proved too strong for Cyclone Development, cruising to a 38-20 victory.
