Kats through to Karratha netball grand final, Tequiras and Blades to face off in preliminary final clash

Karratha Kats are through to the grand finals of the Karratha Netball Association winter competition after defeating Tequiras by seven points.

The opening round of the finals took place at the Karratha Leisureplex on September 6 with Kats running out to a seven-point lead at half-time 15-8.

Kats continued to dominate the play and came away with the victory 36-29.

Meanwhile, Blades defeated Falcons by six points 40-34.

The victory means Blades will now face off against Tequiras in the preliminary final expected to be held on September 13.

In division two, Karratha Kats White defeated their club rivals Karratha Kats Blue 51-40 and Tequiras Div 2 downed Falcons div 2 46-40.

Kats Blue and Tequiras Div 2 will face off in the preliminary final on September 13 with the winner to face off against Kats White.

In division three, Karratha Kats Blue took down Karratha Kats White 48-38 to advance straight to the last dance while Falcons finals run will continue after they defeated Bolts 43-33.

Falcons will now take on Karratha Kats White in the do-or-die preliminary final.
