A Karratha man has pleaded not guilty to stealing a vehicle and the aggravated home burglary of Halls Creek house. Lance Jungine appeared before Karratha Magistrates Court on July 19 facing six charges. Mr Jungine pleaded not guilty to stealing, stealing a motor vehicle and aggravated home burglary. Police allege on the evening of April 21, Mr Jungine broke into a Halls Creek house and stole a set of house and car keys. It is alleged he then stole a Toyota RAV4 valued at more than $1000. Karratha Magistrate Janelle Scutt extended Mr Jungine’s bail, subject to a $2000 personal undertaking and the requirement he will not approach within a 100km radius of Halls Creek He will next appear before Karratha District Court on October 5. Mr Jungine is yet to enter a plea to related charges, which were remanded until October 11.
