Karratha golfers enjoyed a special event on Saturday, with a 4BBB challenge sponsored by Cowan’s Plumbing for the second year.

The annual event features a major prize of full golf memberships for the winners.

Teams of two were paired randomly on the day and a lot of fun was had as well as unexpected results.

Winning the 4BBB comes down to each pair scoring well on different holes for a great combined score and the winners did just that.

Despite their mixed results individually, Supatta Shaw and Trevor Meadows complemented each other, coming in with 46 points and winning by a shot over five contenders on 45 to take out the major prize.

Daniel Hyde (68 off the stick) and teammate Marguerite Jacka were awarded the best Gross, winning the Cowan’s Plumbing fishing shirts.

The club’s major event for the year, the Karratha Open, will be held from August 21-22.

All golfers with a golflink handicap and current membership are eligible to enter.
