Golfers enjoyed a game of 4B Multiplier on Saturday , thanks to sponsors Bronwyn and Colin Goddard, visiting members from Bunbury.

An auction was also held for Doing it for Jarrod to raise funds to support children battling leukaemia.

Despite the small numbers, generous bids added to the donations received to raise a total of $1033.

Players paired off, with their points on each hole multiplied for the team score, so it was not surprising to see some high numbers recorded. The winning pair, who each clocked up a lot of birdies, came in with a massive 75 points. Congratulations to Ken and Tania Willcocks.

Also enjoying a fantastic day of golf, Steve McNally and Lisa Anderson were only three off the win, coming in second with 72 points. Beryl and Wez Lynn were third with 59 points.

Winning the novelty not-a-golfers-a... prize for the day with a score of 32 points, were Tracey Smyth and Dot Abbott.

Abbott said her putting needed some work so was awarded the auto-ball return putting aid, while Tracey is going fishing with her new rod.

Sunday Scroungers saw junior golfer Zavier Broun take out another win with 23 points.

He will now be playing off the men’s tee with no advantages.
