Festive family fun at Karratha’s Christmas on the Green

Festive cheer took over the Red Earth Arts Precinct Amphitheatre on Sunday, December 16 at the annual City of Karratha Christmas on the Green.

Musicians enthralled the masses, rides and face painting kept kids entertained and the crowd enjoyed their home-packed picnics throughout the evening celebration.

The winners of the City of Karratha’s 2018 Christmas Lights Competition were also announced on the night.

The first prize went to Jane and Darrin Oliver for their spectacular display on Bruce Way in Point Samson.

Jerry and Lovell Dumancas’ display on Shadwick Drive in Millars Well came in second, the Sharp family on Smokebush Street in Nickol came third, and Rob and Bec Ladyman on Meleleuca View in Wickham placed fourth.

The Retravision People’s Choice award went to Kylie Boyle on Gascoyne Crescent in Dampier.
