Karratha Falcons rebounded from their round four loss with a resounding 17-point victory over Blades in round five of the Karratha Netball Association season.

The round five game took place at the Karratha Leisureplex on May 31 with Falcons controlling the game and cruising to a 47-30 victory.

The win keeps Falcons in second place on the ladder, trailing first-placed Kats by four points while Blades remain in last place and are yet to secure a win this season.

In the other round five game, Karratha Kats picked apart the Tequiras in a one-sided hammering, taking the victory 48-24.

Kats remain unbeaten so far this season while Tequiras sit in third place on the ladder with one win and three losses.

Meanwhile in division 2, the Kweens proved they ruled the court when they downed Kats Division 2 White 36-34 and Tequiras Division 2 overpowered Blades Division 2, 49-38.

A back-and-forth contest between Falcons and Bolts went down to the wire with Falcons doing enough to ensure the victory 42-39.

In division 3 Kats Division 3 Blue downed Bolts Division 3, 44-32, while Kats Division 3 White took out Falcons 57-41.

Cougars defeated Tequiras 47-34 and in the final game of the round Tequiras Division 3 Black were too strong for Blades taking the win 41-29.
