Driver freed from Dampier truck rollover
A woman in her 40s has been taken to hospital after she was trapped in a truck rollover in Dampier early this afternoon.
The woman’s single cab truck is believed to have rolled on Dampier Highway, just before the entrance into Dampier, at about 12:30pm today and ended upright on the side of the road.
St John Ambulance and two Department of Fire and Emergency Services crews attended the scene.
The female driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was able to crawl to the other side of the cabin but had to be freed from the truck by DFES volunteers.
She was transported to Nickol Bay Hospital with minor injuries.
Police were still monitoring the scene at about 2pm.
