A great game between Wickham and Falcons with lots of big hits kept the Dampier crowds entertained.

Lynny Nel returned to West Pilbara taking up the pitching role for Falcons and proving a valuable pick-up all-around with some strong hits coming off her bat.

Falcons also debuted Amanda Uziel on third base who played a tight game and was vital in several of the outs that Falcons made.

Sarah Board pulled on the catcher’s gear for the first time and Falcons looked strong.

Wickham’s Bobby-Jo Tysoe covered an impressive amount of ground to take a running catch in left field and was kept busy for most of the game.

Erin Clamp demonstrated her quick reflexes catching a hard, flat-line drive at third base in the second dig.

Wickham had a strong fifth dig and took out the win 10 runs to 7.

Orbits tried out new pitchers against Storm and took out a double play on the field. However, Storm dominated in the batter’s box with both Sarah Baogey and Jo Leo hitting three bag hits into the outfield.

Final score was Storm winning 20 to Orbits’ 4

In a one-sided game, Sinners won 27 to Geckos’ 2.

Sinners players were on fire and played a tight game on the field with big hitting in the batter’s box.

Raichel Glasson hit a supberbgrand slam into right field bringing herself and the loaded bases home.

Ashleigh Tiller pitched a strong game and also showed her skills with the bat hitting some massive hits into left and centre field.

Both Nathalie Manado and Darylyn Walley took catches for Geckos and Natasha Shires caught well but they were no match for Sinners on the night.
