The monthly Karratha City Markets combined with festive cheer last Saturday with the turning on of the Sharpe Avenue Light Walk.

Mayor Peter Long recounted the story of The Night Before Christmas, before the children counted down from 10 before Santa Claus switched on the lights on the Christmas tree.

The lights on Sharpe Avenue will be brightening up Karratha until Wednesday, December 26, so head down to take a look for some Christmas fun.
