Aerial search underway for man missing in the remote Pilbara

Karratha police are trying to locate 74-year-old Gregory Stewart, who was last seen in Karratha at around 11am Monday, April 9. A low flying commercial aircraft has been sent to the area between Forty Mile and Point Samson to assist in the search. Mr Steward is 174cm tall, with a very slim build and short grey hair. He was last seen wearing a blue/green shirt and light tan mid-thigh shorts, with a brown baseball cap. He is driving a gold coloured 2003 model Nissan Patrol station wagon, with a WA registration of 1EQT638. Local police are urging anyone who sees Mr Stewart — or his vehicle — or has any information regarding his whereabouts to call police on 131 444.
