Man struck by a car on Reid Highway in Beechboro in a critical condition

A man believed to be in his late 20’s is in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit after he was struck by a car on Reid Highway this morning.

It is understood the man is a road worker and was hit by an oncoming vehicle while working near Altone Road in Beechboro just before 9am this morning

He has yet to be identified.

St John Ambulance and WA Police responded to the incident and Reid Highway was closed westbound from Lord Street.
