Weather presenter Nate Byrne’s strange encounter with rogue camera on live TV

They say don’t work with children or animals but now robots could be added to the list after a weather presenter had a very strange encounter with a rogue camera on live TV.　

ABC News Breakfast’s Nate Byrne was almost run over by an automated camera during his regular weather forecast.

The automatic camera came into shot, forcing Byrne to step out of the way so he could still be seen by viewers.

“Excuse my camera. Get out of it,” he said.

The hosts and crew of the show found the humour in the blooper and can he heard laughing in the background.

News Breakfast co-anchor Michael Rowland said: “Well done in challenging circumstances, Nate.”

“We have the pushiest of cameras in this studio, hogging the limelight. You cannot believe what they’re like. Well done.”

News Breakfast shared the video online saying: “Honestly we have the rudest cameras.”

Byrne brushed the incident aside, welcoming the rise of the robots.

“I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords... so long as they stay out of my shot,” he wrote.
