Police will continue the search for a missing swimmer on Thursday as they still try to confirm the man’s identity.
A search for a missing swimmer at Trigg Beach was scaled up on Wednesday after the man was seen in distress about 100 metres offshore around 5.15pm the night before.
Police say the swimmer was not seen getting out of the water.
