The State Government is offering buyers discounted, development-ready lots in the Mid West and Gascoyne in a bid to boost the region’s economy and create more jobs.

The offer — announced today as part of the $116 million Regional Land Booster initiative — extends to 134 lots in the Mid West and 40 in the Gascoyne.

Residential, commercial and industrial land is up for grabs in Green Head, Leeman, Kalbarri, Cue, Denham and Carnarvon.

Lands Minister Ben Wyatt said delivering more affordable land in regional WA was expected to stimulate the local building and construction sector, driving business investment and creating local jobs.

“The affordable land package will provide a major boost to the Mid West and Gascoyne’s COVID-19 economic recovery and support regional jobs through new residential and industrial developments,” he said.

“Increased land sales will secure a pipeline of work for the region’s building and construction sector, supporting regional jobs and suppliers in this difficult time.

“Eligible land buyers could save themselves an additional $69,000 on top of this package through the various government building grants and concessions on offer, making it much more affordable than before to build a house in WA.”
