Low numbers in the under-16 and under-19 girls’ competitions have resulted in the combining of the two grades.

The committee addressed concerns about 13 and 14-year-old girls playing with 15-17-year-old girls and said the decision was based on maximising team numbers to maintain a strong association and create a pathway for players.
