Saturday Lotto: Four Aussies become instant millionaires with life-changing win

The lives of four Aussies changed forever on Saturday night after they became instant millionaires.

Four lucky lotto players scored division one prizes in Saturday’s draw, winning an eye-watering $1,669,495.54.

The winning numbers were 36, 19, 33, 41, 39, 1 and the supplementary numbers were 25 and 20.

While none of the division one winners were from WA, division two saw three West Aussies score a handy $17,283.70.

In division three, 165 sandgropers won a not-to-be-sniffed-at $1,042.05.

Despite Saturday’s draw not seeing any West Aussie division one winners, it follows the mind-blowing win on Thursday which saw one West Aussie win the entire $50 million Powerball jackpot.

Lotterywest Acting CEO Lorna Pritchard said the Powerball prize was the largest to be won by a WA player for more than three years.

“WA hasn’t seen a division one win this big since a group of 18 workmates shared a $53 million Powerball prize in October 2022,” she said.

“It’s wonderful to be celebrating WA’s fourth Powerball win of the year, which will no doubt be a life-changing moment for tonight’s winner.”
