Julian Crudeli’s record was across just three innings.

Bunbury’s Thomas Buchanan (201 runs at 40.20), Esperance’s Callum McFarlane (191 runs at 63.67) and Bevan Bennell (162 runs at 32.40), also from Bunbury, rounded out the top six.

Bennell captained EGCA to the 2020 A-section title before moving to the South West.

Among bowlers, Peel’s Daniel Abel and Esperance’s Daniel Styles led the way with 19 wickets each.

Able, however, had a better average of 11.16, compared to Styles’ 14.89.

Both took seven wickets in round three, with Styles repeating the feat with a superb 7-95 against EGCA in the semifinal.

Esperance’s Jason Bancroft came in ninth with 10 wickets at 20.50 from EGCA captain Trent Mais (nine wickets at 25.56).

Mais picked up 5-64 in the last game against Busselton-Margaret River as EGCA avoided relegation to B-section.

EGCA, however, had to go all the way to 18th to find their next best player with the ball, Blake Willis (seven wickets at 33.14).

Among EGCA’s No.1 team in C-section, Harley Ellis was sixth overall with 170 runs at 42.50 and Dan Leach took 10 wickets at 21.70.

Esperance’s Fraser O’Brien led all bowlers with 11 wickets at 8.55.

EGCA fixtures resume on Saturday when Lake View play Great Boulder and Hannans oppose Norths.
