Police name driver killed in Geraldton crash

Police have released the name of a man who died after a single vehicle rollover in the Geraldton suburb of Wandina yesterday.

He was 21-year-old Wandina man Daniel Miller.

A police spokeswoman said the crash happened in bushland near Verita Road about 12.40am.

“A white Mitsubishi Triton utility was travelling on a dirt track when the driver lost control resulting in the vehicle rolling over,” she said.

“The 21-year-old male driver received critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Geraldton Hospital where he died a short time later.

“A 20-year-old male passenger received minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.”

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Mitsubishi Triton utility travelling in the area prior to the crash.
